Kittey MalarvieMilkwater and Luga

March 17th - 22nd April 2017

JGM Gallery's inaugural exhibition presented recent work by Kittey Malarvie, from her series Milkwater and Luga. Malarvie’s richly layered paintings refer to the artist’s deep-seated connection to the landscape and sites of her childhood, as well as a reflection on questions pertaining to identity, memory and displacement.

Olivia Cole, poet and literary editor of GQ Magazine has written a new essay on Malarvie's work, which you can read here.
