This dreaming tells about the bush turkey (bustard) or wardilyka. It is a big bird that flies around from place to place searching for food. The men hunt for the wardilyka with boomerangs.
The site for this painting is 100kms south west of Lajamanu at a place called Kulungalinpa, a sacred range of hills. The Jukurrpa runs from there west to Purpalala about 300kms away.
This work has wardilyka that morph to people, snakes, and water, which is depicted. The wardilyka are taking a long journey in creation time looking for water and resting on the way.
