Dora Griffiths is the director of the Waringarri Aboriginal Arts Board, as well as the Arnhem Northern and Kimberley Artists Aboriginal Corporation Board, and follows the legacy of her elders to learn about her “Country”, culture and art. Griffiths continues the tradition of painting her “Country” like her late father, Alan Griffiths, and mother, Peggy Griffiths. She paints her father’s “Country” in Timber Creek and Nimbiya as well as the Butterfly Dreaming from her mother’s side.
Griffiths has exhibited extensively throughout Australia, Europe and China.
